Since we have had workers in our house for the past week and a half Alivia has found a new favorite place to hang out. She has always loved hanging out in mom and dad's bed, but now it's more fun to sit in all the pillow and watch the workers make mommy and daddy's closet into a walk in closet. She I think enjoyed having men around our house these past few days. I actually only let her sit in our room one afternoon since she was so anxious to see what they were doing.

The last day of working they were fixing or stretching back her carpet in her room and she just sat in the hallway while they did there work. The guys kept saying you might have a little worker on your hands. I laughed and in my mind I was thinking no I think she is going to be my little shopper instead. Oh what the heck if she knows her way around tools and a hammer she will make some guy really happy some day.
Well our last project is the baby room. That will begin next week through the weekend. Why do I always make the last month or so of my pregnancies so stressful. Good thing I will have a lot of little helpers.

Do you think she is hungry?

Over the weekend we had a lot of things going on. We have had our house under construction in our room and Alivia's so our play area has been the basement. We usually play upstairs and down to switch up things, but since we have been stuck downstairs we tend to forget things in our routine. The other day I couldn't find Alivia, but then heard a little high pitch voice coming from the kitchen and saw this....

I think when you find your child hanging out in the pantry she is either very hungry, needing to switch up our play routine or I forgot snack time. In this case we let snack time come and go. At least she was just sitting there patiently and not getting everything out.
What did we choose for out snack.... Of course fruit snacks and cheese crackers. I guess from here on out she will know exactly what to do if mom forgets snack time again. I am sure when Alivia's sister arrives we will forget this time of day a lot. I might have to make her a snack bar in the basement so I am on it when snack time comes.

A girl with many emotions

Alivia has been really good at expressing her emotions. We have a book that goes through what we are feeling. I guess I never figured she was paying that close attention till one day I ask her what babies do when they are happy, sad and angry. She also is really into telling you where her head, nose, eyes, ears and mouth are. She definitely has been very entertaining lately which will be good when her baby sister comes along. I am hoping she can entertain her during parts of the day.

Here we are showing mommy where our head is while cooking. We are such a good multi-tasker.
Here is our belly which is our favorite to show me. We are fascinated by not only her own belly, but everyone else's so beware for her to ask you to see it.

This is what babies do when they are sad.... Where really good at sticking that lip out.

This is what babies do when they are happy.

Last but not least this is how we show our teeth and when babies are angry.
My little ham is always doing something new every day that makes me laugh. I would like to think she got my goofy personality, but if you ask her dad he would say it's from him. If you didn't know Clint is a stand up comedian...... ha ha ha

32 weeks....

We have made it to 32 weeks and still feeling great. Both mom and baby are doing well and enjoying our last few weeks till she arrives. She is still very active which I am wondering if she ever will sleep when she comes. Still able to run and workout which has been a good stress reliever for me. We are really looking forward to meeting her in about 8 weeks.....

Cookies and painting.....

The other day Alivia did a wonderful job at making her Valentine's cookies and cards. She is very into bottles such as lotion, soap or as you can see below sprinkle bottles. Mom made the cookies and iced them and then Alivia got to decorate them and let me tell you there were more sprinkles on the cookie than cookie.
As you can see her lunch shoved in the corner of her tray, but I wanted to make sure she ate lunch before she ate a bunch of sugar. We were so excited to decorate we had to keep what was left of lunch and decorate at the same time.
We did such a good job with making out cookies pretty she didn't even want to eat one. Usually when we decorate cookies she eats the frosting throughout the process. This time we were very into making them pretty.

Oh we did try really hard to open the top to make them come out faster. We figured it out twice and those cookies had about a two inch mound of sprinkles on them.

Here are our pretty Valentine's day cards we made. Again I had to give Alivia q-tips to paint since I forgot to pick up paint brushes once again. They still turned out pretty.....
Happy Valentine's Day!

Crack free zone....So we thought

Okay so if you have read Clint's notes on Facebook you would know that Alivia has found her lady parts. It's kind of gross, but got my 20 month update on her and it said that this is the time that kids will start to explore their bodies. Well since this happens once in awhile she manages to get her diaper and pants to come down below her hips. Since they fall we are seeing a lot more baby booty these days which in some way is really cute....
Here is my cutie with her baby crack hanging out helping daddy build a fire.
Couldn't resist this shot while she is blowing on the fire to make it go.Cute little bubble booty....

Crazy days with Alivia

My sweet little lady is becoming quite the goof ball. She is really into sitting in the weirdest spots in the house. I will find her sitting on the step just talking to herself or on the rug in the kitchen. Lately it's on daddies speaker next to the TV. She will sit on it and play in the drawer or put stickers on the entertainment center which is always fun for mom to clean.

She also will now let mom take her picture and actually smile at the camera and say cheese. Her little mind is so weird sometimes I wish I could know what she was really thinking sometimes.
Oh don't worry about the cleaning gloves she is not some weird obsessed cleaner. Alivia enjoys playing with either moms cleaning gloves on or her outside gloves. Normally I think kids hate to wear them, but not Alivia. She will go to the back room with our coats and get her gloves out of her snowsuit.

I wonder sometimes if I gave birth to a little blind girl since we love I mean LOVE to wear our sunglasses all the time. Normally it's when we run errands or in the car, but we also enjoy wearing them when we eat. She had them on the other night during dinner and Clint just looked at her and then me and laughed. These days that is all you can do....
