A day at the beach

All the kids headed out the beach even Ella. Ella had a great time sleeping in the sun. The older girls did lots of swimming and building sand castles while Jack played in the deep in with some new friends he made that day. We sure are enjoying summer these days!!!

Day with daddy

Our father's day started with Alivia getting to feed Ella a bottle for the first time. You would have thought it was Christmas at our house. Alivia thought it was pretty cool giving a real baby a bottle. I think she was more interested in how mommy got the milk in the bottle. She kept pulling up her shirt and saying "Alivia milk". Oh the joys of motherhood....

Big sister doing such a good job with Ella
Alivia swan for the first time in the pool by herself with a life vest. She loves the pool and has no fears at all which is good and bad.

Ella loves her daddy because he sings to her while walking around the house.

A day with Lilly...

It's kind of crazy that my little Ella is already having play dates. Between Lilly and Claire my Ella will have friends for life. These days the girls can do more than just eat and sleep when together. They have fun sitting on the couch and talking who knows about what, but it's pretty funny. They laugh and smile at each other and enjoy a few cuddles too.

Sitting cheek to cheek

Either they just pooped or are both thinking the same sad thought

They are all drool and cheeks, love it

Play dates....

These days we are so lucky to have all these babies around to have play dates. It's a little weird that my 9 week old has more friends than her sister, but oh well it's fun. These past few weeks we have had so much fun playing with Lilly, Claire and Sam. Whether it's watching mom bake or us moms pulling kids off each other life is not boring.

Here is Lilly and Ella sitting so patiently while their moms do some baking. They have such a hard life I can hardly stand it.
Here is Alivia getting in some much needed Lilly "illy" time. We tried to get a picture of Alivia giving Lilly kisses, but I just couldn't get it.

Baby Claire who is a little camera shy or just a newborn that wants to sleep and Ella who looks like she just benched 250 and ate a protein bar next to little Claire.

Oh this picture says so much. Alivia is more concerned about her pretzels and cheese while keeping an eye on Sam so he won't get them. Sam just wants us to be done taking the picture so he can play or eat his snack. Ella is a little confused why she has to sit up and take the picture if Claire gets to lay down and nap. Wait I think Sam just gave up on helping his sister out. Sam your going to wish you held her down the road....
You have to love these type of pictures. It's something you can not plan or set up. It's a moment in time when this is how 2 year olds and babies act. Can't wait to show them down the road.
Oh and also on this day Sam and Alivia had the best dance party two 2 year olds could have. Sam has some awesome moves I would have to say. It's to bad about 10 minutes prior to the dance party they were wrestling on the floor over toys....

First pedicure

Now that we are 2 years old a lot of big girl activities come along with it. Alivia had a great time being pampered the other day getting her pedicure in before a nap. I mean how stressful can a toddlers life get. Well all in all she had a fun time and mommy enjoyed watching her baby do such a big girl thing.

Enjoying a sucker as relaxes
Pretty toes

Where did the baby go. It felt like yesterday she was only 6 months old.

All done. First pedicure can be checked off our list.

Alivia's 2nd birthday!

Alivia had a wonderful candy and cupcakes birthday over the weekend. We had good friends and family around us to help celebrate my baby turning two! The day started off a little rainy, but turned out to be a nice evening so everyone was able to run around outside and enjoy themselves. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it. Alivia couldn't have been surrounded by better people on such a special day.

Alivia also had her 2 year check up and all is well with my big 2 year old.

Memorial Day Weekend....

Clint and I took the girls to lake Minnetonka on Monday and had a great time. We walked the beach area and then headed to get a snack. Alivia had a great time feeding the ducks with daddy while Ella enjoyed the scenery.
