Fun in the sun!

Can hardly believe it's going to August already.  The summer has just flown by.  Good thing we have been enjoying every minute of it.  From playing at the park, swimming, out on the lake and fun camps we have definitely been having fun, fun, fun!

Date Night

Clint and I had a much needed date night over the weekend.  The kiddos were with my mom and Paul and we headed out for some music, dancing and fun!  The weather was perfect and we had so much fun.

Boy oh Boy

I am starting to see what everyone has been talking about with boys.  Colin has been into everything and climbing in and on anything he can get to.  He has figured out how to pull drawers open and get into them.

Week with auntie and grandma

We were so lucky to have auntie Courtney and grandma come up and visit us last week.  The girls were spoiled with love from the day they arrived till they left.  It was a busy few days of fun, laughter and hot weather.

Summer Fun

Summer is just flying by, but we are enjoying every minute of it.  The kids have been swimming like crazy and enjoying a lot of time on the tube.  I definitely have fish for kiddos...

 Colin having some fun at the pool.  Colin keeps right up with his sisters at the pool when we are there.  Spending the afternoon at the pool is were we usually are during the week.

Colin also loves to crawl and get into all the places he shouldn't.  I normally catch him here, in the laundry basket or in a dresser drawer.  When people tell you boys are into everything and everywhere they are correct!

Jack turned 9 last week and since he only does friend birthday's we decided to take a day to let the cousins celebrate with him.  So we took all five kiddos for a day of fun, games and cupcakes!

4th of July fun

This 4th of July we had a lot of new experiences.  The girls got to try tubing.  Alivia and Ella we so excited and didn't even second guess jumping in.  They had so much fun and loved every minute of it.

Summertime!

Summertime brings so much fun, joy and new experiences.  Here at the Varley house we have had some new additions to our house, a lot of fun and many new experiences.  

 Clint got a basketball hoop for his birthday, but it took till Fathers day to finally get it installed and ready to go.  Since it's been done the kids and Clint have been out there all the time.  It's been fun to watch the girls with their dad do something he loves.

 Summertime also brings sleepy kids.  Love these cute faces, but wish Ella's nuk wasn't in the pic.  We are down to nap and bed with it.  Ella said she is going to give it to her preschool teacher and be totally done with it.  I will let you know how that goes:)

 Summertime brings out the silly side of all of us.  Ella has been wearing this hat for a few days now.  It's a little small, but has just liked having it on her head for some reason...

 Summer wouldn't be right without making cakes and goodies.  This is our last creation we made for grandpa Evan's birthday.  It was yummy.  The top and bottom layers are chocolate cake and the "hamburger" was a brownie...
