The girls had a fun day of picking flowers, playing in daddy's nice and new horse shoe pit and a walk to the park. We are truly taking in every nice day we can and enjoying it to the fullest. Alivia loved picking flowers for me. I think she liked how they smelled more, but either way it was cute. Can we keep this nice weather or is it going to be 40 tomorrow?

Fun wih Sampson
Ella loves to play with Sampson these days. Sampson loves it since he doesn't get much attention especially when it's just me and the girls. Now that we can be outside most of the day Ella's new job is to play catch with him. Well as good as a one year old can do with a dog.

Family Fun
About a week ago the Varleys headed to the Circus. Neither of us had ever been to one or one that we remember so this was a new adventure for us. Alivia was pretty excited and Clint and I were too (in a weird way). When we got there it was an eye opener. Lot's of people watching and crazy people. I couldn't believe the amount of people that go to the Circus. It was a fun new experience for all of us and not sure if we would do it again...... Well maybe if it was a different Circus we would try it again.

A day at the park
Our first little picnic of the summer. Presley and grandma Joyce came over and we packed lunches and headed to the park for the morning and part of the afternoon. The girls had a good time swinging and going down the slide. Ella went down the big twisty slide over and over again. We also played princess and I was the prince driving the ship. So ready for this summer!

Big date night
Clint and I got tickets to the Tim McGraw concert over the weekend as one of Clint's presents for the big 30. We originally had great seats, but ended up with up close and personal seats by the end.
So after Luke Bryan went on we headed up for one last bathroom break and a fill up on drinks. While I was in the bathroom I was sitting doing my job and look next to me and saw a lonely ticket sitting next to me. I looked closer and saw that the ticket was for the main stage so I quickly took it and ran out to Clint. I held it up and said "what do you think we can do with this". He laughed and said we can try, but with one ticket it might not work. So we headed down to the stage and Clint went first and they asked for our tickets. I pretended to look for mine and could not find it since there was no ticket anyway. My acting skills came into play and made a story up about leaving in the bathroom. Clint played along and made a big deal about being separated and by then the guy said "just go". So we headed down and made some friends so we looked like we were supposed to be there and the night only got better from there.

Right after Clint gave his buddy Tim a big old high five. In his words " I just touched the hand that touches Faith Hill"

Our seats when he finally came on. This was right before I held hands with Mr. McGraw.

Let the soccer begin
We have been waiting all spring for soccer to start and it did with a cold and rainy day. Alivia was pretty excited, but the rain made it hard to concentrate. We do not like our face wet these days, but we made it through and had the first practice and game in the books.

A day with daddy

Ella or Clint
Some people say Ella is a mix of Clint and I like Alivia is, but I completely believe she is 100 percent daddy's little girl. Ella is all dad with a hint of me (her personality for sure). I could not get over how much the two of them look like each other when they were babies. At least we know she will grow up to be a cutie!

Great weekend
What a fun weekend full of great memories. The Varley family packed up and headed down to Iowa for a long weekend on Thursday. We had a packed weekend full fun things for the girls. Friday we went to watch Bull Riding in Des Moines. Saturday we headed up to Ames for graduation and then that night celebrated Clint's birthday. Sunday of course was Mother's day and ate good food and spent some time with family. We always have so much fun when we go to grandma and grandpa's house.
So excited to go see some bull riding. Ticket in hand and we are off.
Our little cowgirl ready for the big even.
Started off the night with some fireworks and craziness.
Can't get more cowboy than this.
Mom and dad having some fun.
Alivia having fun and enjoying staying up till 11pm... Lucky girl!
Go go go
We also did a lot of singing over the weekend. Alivia brought her Disney CD and we sang and sang a whole new world till us adults were sick of singing it. Thanks Chad, Courtney and Mark for making a little girl feel so special.

Crazy kidz....
Jack, Presley and Alivia dancing like crazy people. I laughed so hard at them because they took it so serious especially Jack. We also have a future little cheerleader on our hands. I think this was her way of trying to fit in with the big kids.

Daddy and the rocker girls
So the Varleys have started a band. Daddy as the front man with his two ladies bringing up the vocals. Now that Alivia is older it has been fun teaching her how to play some of these fun big kid toys. Thank goodness the girls are majority Varley when it comes to the musical side of things because Amslers can't hold a note at all.

Rain rain go away
We have had a lot of rain and cold days lately. I can't decide if it's worse having piles of snow everywhere or the snow gone and it's just cold. This winter and spring have been horrible for us this year and the girls are getting tired of looking at their outside toys from the kitchen window.
Since it's been so yucky outside we have to get creative. I guess one good thing this weather has taught us is how to play together and share. This weather has forced us to learn this pretty fast. So in the Varley household we do a lot of different kind of playing. We play kitchen, market place, dress up and have mastered Just Dance on the Wii.
