Happy 2nd birthday Colin

Can't believe my little baby is two years old already.  It honestly seems like yesterday we found out about him.  He truly has been a blessing to our family.  He has brought us so much love, joy and happiness that makes our family whole.  We love our little buddy so much he might get kissed so much that it won't even bother him when he's older.
After having two girls this was such a new and exciting adventure I could wait to go on with my new little man.  From day one he has captured my heart and it's going to take a pretty amazing girl to try to take him from me! ha ha ha but seriously
Colin has this personality that is both Alivia and Ella.  He can be a little lover and helper, but then out of no where he can become this little stinker.  He is a diaper only kind of kiddo and we love him to the end and back.
Shoes are another fun thing to play with.  Colin will put daddy's shoes, my shoes and the dress up shoes on at all times.  He also loves to pass them out when it's time to go somewhere.  My little organizer!!!
So when people say "you just wait boys are crazy".  They truly mean it.  I feel like almost everyday Colin is trying to climb. jump off or put himself in the most dangerous places.  We now have the nurses line on call at all times.
Colin is also a goofball.  He makes us laugh everyday and is just to stinking silly.  Dying to know what he is like in 10 plus years.
Colin is a true brother of two older sisters.  From princess stuff to high heels Colin loves it all.  The best part he will put on the heels and then walk over to a ball and drop kick it like a pro.
 boys, boys, boys
Colin I love you so much and can't wait to watch you grow up.  Your my buddy for life and love every minute with you.  Happy 2nd birthday little man!

Barbie Day

The girls finally got to go to the Barbie dream house.  They worked hard all summer and earned their way in.  We had an amazing time and just watching these two in their glory was pure fun.

Dance workshop

Alivia had so much fun at her dance workshop last week.  She danced all day with different choreographers from LA.  They had classes in Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Hip Hop and stretch.  Alivia loved the hip hop and can't wait for the next workshop!

Beach day

Trying to enjoy the last few weekends of nice beautiful weather before school starts.  Heading the beach sounds like the best way to spend a day!

Wedding and Iowa state fair

A couple of weekends ago we had a great weekend full of wedding and Iowa state fair fun.  The kids and adults had a blast at the wedding.  We danced all night and enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Basketball camp

Alivia had such a fun week at basketball camp.  She loves playing and practicing with her dad so it was fun to see her grow as a player this year.

My dancer

It was that time of year again for dance try outs and this year Alivia moved up to the next level and is now a Crystal!  I could not be more proud of her and all the hard work she has put in this summer.  They choose 18 new dancers out of 50 so she has a lot to be proud of.  Alivia is officially big time now with choreography weekends with professionals from LA/NY.  She also does a showcase in January along with multiple competitions in the spring.  Bring on this crazy world and let the fun begin!

Broken Colin

My poor little Colin had a rough week.  On Monday night he was playing a little to rough with his sisters and the scream you never want to hear as a mom happened once again in our house.  I walked in to Colin crying with his poor little hand dangling.  After calming him down I took him in to get checked and sure enough he broke his wrist.  I keep telling Colin "just wait till your bigger than those girls".  Pay backs for sure

Soccer

This past week Ella had soccer camp.  She loved and enjoyed every minute which is such a change from Alivia doing soccer at her age.  I actually got to be the mom that sat back on her blanket and cheered from the side!  I was so proud of her and loved watching her work so hard all week.
