Silly kiddos

Love these kids.  It's so fun to watch them play together and how they just love to be together.  I hope this last as they grow up.

Three Months!

My big boy is three months today!  I just can't get enough of this little guy.  He is so sweet and loves to cuddle with his mom.  Colin seem to change everyday and learning new things.  This month he likes:
-his hands
-sound of his voice
-his sisters
-starting to like his thumb, but keeping that nuk close by
-loves to kick and move around
-lay on the floor
-hold on to things (new one)
We are also starting to get our two bottom teeth in.  They are right there ready to pop through.  I can see and feel the top of them so for sure by Christmas Colin will have his two front teeth:)  Also, he still has those big blue eyes like his sister.

Colin also has a babysitter in the afternoons aka Alivia.  She likes to pretend she is watching him while I get cleaning, laundry or things done.  On this particular day she can in the kitchen to tell me she made Colin more comfortable.  I went in and found Colin like this.  What a lucky little boy...

Grease

Alivia and Ella have been obsessed with the music from Grease.  Clint made them a CD to listen to and when the show Glee did a Grease show we had to record it.  It's so fun to watch my kids love something I loved as a kid.  Go Grease Lightning!

Big Boy

Well we finally put Colin in his own bed.  It took us longer with him since he has been so easy and quiet.  Alivia was 8 weeks old and Ella was 6 weeks old when they went into their crib.  I think it took longer with Colin because he is my baby and I know when we move him it means he is growing up.
So far Colin has done well at night.  The only thing is I stopped swaddling him and his arms are out which means he wants them in his mouth.  He has been getting frustrated, but will soon figure it all out.  I have only put him in his crib during the day a couple of times.  We are on the go so much most of the time we aren't home.  When he does nap in their it's weird only having Alivia around for a few hours.

This is Alivia's part to todays blog post.  She sat with me and asked to help so this his what is on her mind today!

Love

So we are about 2 1/2 months into our lives as a family of five (six counting Sampson).  Life couldn't be any  better.  Don't get me wrong there are good days and challenging days, but I wouldn't change anything.  I never thought I would say this, but I just can't get enough of my little boy.  I love when the girls go to sleep so I can get some alone snuggle time so maybe that is why I haven't stopped the 10pm feeding.  He is becoming such a boy and I can't get enough.  He giggles and is on the verge of laughing.  My favorite part of the day is getting him dressed because it's such a change from bows, skirts and purses.  Don't get me wrong I love my girls and cherish all the moments with them, but the change of having a little man is so much fun.
I catch myself tearing up when I see Alivia singing to Colin and kissing him on the cheek.  She just loves him to pieces and it just melts my heart.  Ella loves her bath time with him and likes to cuddle up next to him.  Kids are the greatest part of our lives and I truly love watching them grow, love and learn each day.  There have been some days that I have needed to walk into another room and take a few minutes, but that is mostly due to Ella being 2 yrs old.  I love her dearly, but she has challenged me the most so far.  The funniest part about it, I couldn't imagine her any other way.  Each one has their own personality and that is what makes life so fun.

Fun Sunday

Last weekend the kiddos all got together to play since they haven't seen each other in two months.  They had so much fun playing and being crazy like do.  My sister and I sat in the basement while the entertained us putting together dance routines, playing house and Jack teaching the girls cheers.  Where has the time gone they are all growing up so fast.

 The three girls
and the boys...don't be blinded by Jack's jacket.  He has been wearing his new warm up for hockey since he made the traveling top team as the only second grader on the team.  Fun to watch him love something so much and actually be really good at it.

Week of Halloween Fun

What a week of Halloween activities.. Love this time of year starting with Halloween to Thanksgiving and then the greatest one Christmas!  Here are a few pictures and videos of Alivia's school Halloween party and parade.

Ella had to wear her costume to the parade too.  Ella and Rosie has fun playing while the big kids sang their songs.
