Fun in the sun!

After a long afternoon on the trampoline Ella's hair has been in static to long
Alivia showing me her dance poses for pictures
Ella showing off her new trick as if she is a dog
The girls were pretending to sleep switching off who would rug the others back.  Maybe sharing a room will work out just fine!

Part two of end of school year fun

After our wonderful picnic at school we then headed to the Mall of America for some fun!  This time we met  grandma Joyce there so the girls had both their grandma's for the afternoon of shopping and rides.  We headed to the Disney store which is a must if we go to the MOA.  We checked out all the princess things and then made our way to a store I have kept a secret from the girls... The American Doll Store!!!  When I told Alivia we were going there she asked "who the american doll was".  I told her she had to just wait to find out.  When we walked in the look on both of the girls faces were priceless.  The both smiled from ear to ear and just didn't know where to start.  We walked around and then they played with the dolls they had out.  Thank goodness we saved rides for last because that was the only thing we had to get them out of the store.
After play time it was time for some serious riding on rides.  The girls each picked out all the rides they wanted to go on and we made our way around the park.  When we were done with rides it was time for some much needed dinner.  Grandma Annette said let's go back to the American Doll Store and eat so we did.  It was a blast and I might say the girls have a new favorite place which they call "The Doll Store".
 A little balloon ride
 Hung out with Dora
 Dinner with their babies
Making sure her doll "Emma" look okay
 Ella and her baby "Jama"
Giving her doll a little tea
Ella being such a good mom to her baby
They also sang to Alivia since this was a small celebration with both grandma's for her birthday

6 months

A little break from Alivia's end of the year segment.  Once again I am about 2 weeks behind in this.  We are now 6+ months and can not believe how fast it is flying by.  I am so excited to meet this little boy, but don't want summer to go by to quick.  Mom and baby are doing well.  Everything checks out perfect at my appointments especially since I have two extra nurse helpers when I go.  Life is good so far and feeling great!

End of the school year fun part 1

Alivia can mark off her first school year in the books.  She had a awesome first year in preschool and is looking forward to going back in the fall.  Alivia has grown up so much this past year and I can't even imagine what the years will be like in the future.  She made many friends and loved her teacher so much.  This year will definitely be one to remember!
On the last day Alivia's school has a picnic for all the kids and their families.  Alivia's grandma from Iowa came up for the fun and Paul even made it out for the afternoon.  It was a beautiful day to spend one last big day with everyone from school...

Ella even joined in on the fun

 Cheese!
Just talking about their summer plans
Alivia and her teacher Mrs. Hoffman.  What a great year and I hope there are many more to come.  I also wanted to give a BIG thank you to Annette and Paul.  My kids were a little abandoned by their mom since I got caught up in many adult conversations.  Thanks to them they played with them and made sure they were safe!

Last day of school

Alivia had a great last day of school.  It was a fun way to end a memorable year of pre-school.  I loved school and it's so fun to now see my own kids go through such a fun time in their lives.

Fun weekend!

Over the weekend we headed to Iowa to celebrate Clint's birthday and of course Mother's Day!  We had a great time and wonderful weather.  The girls got to play, have a bonfire, shop and Alivia went to her first graduation party with grandma and grandpa.  Just a fun relaxing weekend!
Ella spent a lot of time with the cows while we were there.  She talked to them and made them feel very special.

Our first night we had a nice summer night making yummy treats and playing with glow sticks.
Alivia needed a little break from shopping to play for a bit.  I have no problems with this girl finding friends.  Within minutes of being there she found these girls and they were playing princess.

Soccer

It's that time again for Alivia to start soccer.  She was so excited on Saturday morning she was up and ready to go by 7:30am.  When we got there she was ready to jump right in and practice.  I think the best part was she got a name tag which you can see in the video she was pretty excited about.  After about 40 minutes in she decided to be done for the day.  For the last bit they actually play the game and Alivia was not to pumped about that.  She told me on the way home she didn't like being chased.  So for the first day 40 min was pretty darn good for us.  I think each time she might be more and more ready for it.  We might have to start chasing her around the house to get her used to it:)

you can copy and paste this video of her first day of soccer...

Mother's Day at school

Alivia's school celebrated Mother's Day on Friday.  It was a morning full of singing, tea, cookies and pictures.  I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my morning.  Since it was so nice I took the girlsout for lunch and we made a day of just us ladies...
This was the last song and was tough on this prego mom.  The chorus goes:
Well I know it's hard to believe that you were a kid like me
One day I am going to grow up
So remember me when I am small
Are you kidding... Not only are my hormones on super load, but to hear my little girl sing about growing up and having to remember her now makes me a little teary eyed...

Pretty sure this is head, shoulder, knees and toe

Alivia and Tessa doing their prayer so well
 Group shot

Tessa and her giant friend Alivia
Alivia was asked some questions about me and one is just hilarious.  Not only do I weigh 30lbs, but I love to eat everything in the world... What a great day to spend with my girls.  I even got a beautiful butterfly necklace the kids made for their moms.  I am going to leave you all with this poem/song that they sang to us. I mean give this poor pregnant mom a chance here.  I was that mom crying her eye's out.  Not sure if it was the hormones or the thought of my kids growing up some day....

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls

But every day I'm growing --
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away

So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small
