Thanksgiving fun....

We had a great time down in Iowa for Thanksgiving. The girls got a lot of auntie, uncle, grandma and grandpa time. Alivia played basically the entire time we were there and Ella was just little Ella. Oh and don't mind Ella's cheeks she just ate right before all these pictures and they are always red after nursing.

Curious George Live!!!

We had so much fun this past weekend going to Curious George Live. Grandma Annette, Alivia and I went and had a girls night out and had so much fun. Alivia loved it and did awesome during the whole show.

Showing grandma how it works and how cool it is.

So excited for the show to start. Alivia wanted to go on stage so bad.

On the edge of her seat watching like the cutest kid ever.

Favorite time of year....

Every year I try to create a fun Christmas card that shows the Varleys at our best. Basically we use our dog or now kids. For the past 5+ years I have always done my Christmas cards through Shutterfly and have always been very pleased. Each year they come out with new updated backgrounds and different styles to use. Each year I try something different than the last so hopefully this years will be even better than before....
It seems like each year I always make a calendar for someone in our family. This the greatest way to show off your pictures and show someone they care. I love using the shutterfly calendar for fun different presents.

They melt my heart...

Now that Ella is starting to get a little older she is showing more interest in Alivia's toys that are safe for her to play with. Alivia has been so good at showing her how to play with it and it's so cute because she talks in a high pitch voice. It just melts my heart when I see them playing so well together already. I can only hope it continues down the road. I know I have plenty of fights to battle, but for right now I will take my sweet innocent girls.

Childrens Museum

We had a great time at the Children's Museum the other day with our friends Sam and Claire. We explored many things and got all the craziness out. Ella and Claire even were able to get in on the play too.

Papa needs help......

When we went down to Iowa last Alivia went out with grandma to see grandpa on the tractor. Instead of going with him they followed behind with daddy. As they were heading to a different location grandpa (aka pa-paw) slid into the ditch. For some reason this really stuck with her and all weekend we asked about it and still two weeks later we still talk about it.

Pay Back Time....

I apologize first for showing this picture, but I couldn't resist sharing my favorite pay back picture so far of Alivia. When she is 18 or one night when the boyfriend is over this might happen to come out.
This all happened because she likes to be naked or take parts of our clothing off throughout the day. On this day it was our bottom half and then decided to put the apron on and do some cooking. I was laughing so hard because she had no idea that this was wrong or weird. You have to love their thought process.

7 months old!

Ella Joy Varley
7 months old

Some things I enjoy now that I am 7 months old:
-I eat baby food twice a day and as for now love both all my veggies and fruits
-I sleep through the night and take two naps a day
-I can sit up and reach for my toys
-I roll all over the house and am starting to move myself forward and backwards (thanks to my sister having such cool toys)
-I have 5 of my teeth so far (two on the bottom and three on top)
-I am very chatty and think my first word might be "dada" or "yeah"
-I laugh and smile all the time
-I love to play with my sisters dolls and farm animals
-I am a little blondie with bright blue eyes
-I am healthy and happy little girl
Here is my sister who thinks I am a one of her baby dolls sometimes. She like to undress me and play peek a boo. I really enjoy when she reads to me and sings me songs. She also does a lot of funny things like when she dances and does her crazy song mixes (we mix a few of our favorite songs together aka baby rapping).

Were feeling better finally!

The Varley household is slowly getting better one by one. We are just glad that the girls are starting to be themselves again. Over the weekend we started doing our normal activities like dressing up, playing with toys and running around. The mornings and early afternoons are our best times. Evening comes and we start to get a little crabby, but were getting there.

We love Alivia's new dress up clothes. She was putting on a show and singing so lovely. Don't worry she totally has the point to Jesus when we hit the high notes. Not sure where she gets it from, but I love it.
We also loose the mic and show off our dance moves.

Here is another outfit we love to wear. Oh and Alivia likes multiple ponytails in our hair these days.

And this little one finally smiling again. She has been loving the horse lately and does a great job making it go.

Halloween 2010!

The Varley girls had a good time treat or treating this year. Alivia went as a cow and Ella went as a hamburger. It was a cold night so Ella just went to the first few house then we were off to hit the whole neighborhood.

Tried to get a family picture and this is what we got. Clint a little sunny from the football game the day before. Alivia looking like if we take one more picture and don't go get candy she might kill and Ella wishing she was somewhere else. Poor mom is always ready for a good family picture. Oh the memories.....

Mommy getting our little cow all ready for the night.

All set and loving life right now. Doesn't she make a cute cow!

Ella trying to sneak a few pieces of candy without big sister looking.

Getting warm while we head to the next house.

Trick or treat!

Happy Halloween!!!

Put this picture on here for the Varleys. This is our neighbor who reminds me of great grandma Dorothy. If you could meet her they are so similar.

There was no sign that said to only take one. I think we took about three.
