Weekend Fun!

Another great weekend in Iowa!  The kids had fun swimming, making pasta and just playing with grandma and grandpa.  Alivia also enjoyed working on her numbers with grandpa.  Can never complain when we head down because it's always a fun time...

5 months

My baby is 5 months old today!  I know I say this every month, but where does the time go.  Colin has been a growing boy and changing everyday.  So much has happened in the last month like:

we have two teeth

roll over (only a select few have seen him do this)

laugh and smile all the time

eat cereal

grab and hold onto things

Loves balls

Overall just loves life!

Colin is just the easiest baby and I believe it's because he has no other way to be.  We are on the go and in the car a lot so he is so used to just going with the flow of life.  He loves his sisters dearly and Alivia believes she is his second mom.  Life couldn't be better...

Big boy

Colin is now eating cereal and it went great.  It's always fun to share with everyone the first time with this glue smelling cereal.  Colin is growing up way to fast and I am not sure if I am ready for all these first to come and go.  In my eye's he is to little to be eating big boy food, but I might have to come to terms with it and let him grow up.

Florida Part One

Another year in the books for the Varley family trip to Florida.  We had a great time, swimming, running on the beach, shopping, playing golf and enjoying the 80 degree weather.  The kids were great and had so much fun!

We are off in two days to head down to warm sunny Florida.  I have two little girls that have been asking if today is the day we leave for the last week.  This year it will be a learning experience traveling with three kids.  The girls have been so easy the last few years so adding Colin shouldn't be to difficult.  I can't wait for Colin to swim and feel the sand in his little french fry toes.  

I will try to update the blog while we are gone, but the days seem to be pretty busy and by night I am ready to crash.  So I can't wait to share our week full of swimming, playing on the beach and exploring with three little people with you.

As you can see it's a pattern to have a baby in my belly every other year when we come down here.  

Birthday fun

Not a bad way to spend a birthday afternoon!  Ella eye balling the cake like she is going to jump on it.  Alivia being her cute self and Colin checking out Sampson outside.  What a great day so far!

The kids

Colin has recently loves to be sitting up or playing in his little play gyms.  He is becoming such a big boy everyday.  Us girls can't get enough of him and that cute little smile he has.  We also have been going to the gym and swimming.  Colin went swimming for the first time the other day and loved it.  We have gone a couple times since then and it's so fun to see him watch all the kids playing.

The girls got desks for Christmas this year and they have been a hit.  It's kind of hard to see in the video since I was trying to be sneaky and catch them in action.  They love to play school and do their so called homework in their new desks.
