Busy week

This past week was full of fun, craziness and parties.  We started off the week with a fun day of art activities and one of our favorites was painting the biggest canvas in the house, me.  The girls had so much fun painting  my growing belly and then running through the sprinkler.  Life at the Varleys can be a little messy, but we are always having fun!
A few days later the girls went to their cousin Presley's 5th birthday party.  It was a fairy party which was so fun to see all the girls all dressed up.  Alivia had fun meeting some new friends and playing fairy for a few hours.
A little face painting for my two little ladies

The three girl cousins.  Ella, Alivia and Presley and of course Alivia looks like a giant in this picture.
All the little girls.  This group as full of crazy, wild and calm ladies.  I was completely worn out after this party for sure.

As the summer is starting to come to an end we have definitely enjoyed every minute of it.  I am a true believer in letting kids be kids as long as possible since they grow up so fast.  Summer is about fun, being silly and enjoying everyday.  We are getting really close to adding another little one to our household and are so excited.  The answer to most questions such as:
When does school start again?  When brother gets here
When do I get to go back to dance?  When brother gets here
How long till Auntie Rachel and Uncle Chase's wedding?  When brother gets here
It's crazy that answer is going to be here so soon.  We are ready for the adventure and bring on more crazy!!!

Fun with friends

What a fun day with friends.  It's hard to believe that these girls are getting so big.  It has been so fun watching them grow up together and become such silly friends together.

Ella getting in some practice before her brother gets here in a few short weeks.

My Sour Patch Kid

Not sure if you have seen the commercials for the candy Sour Patch Kids.  Well that commercial defines my Ella.  She can be the sweetest little girl and then come right back at you with a devilish comment or behavior.    For example she will come up to me and give me a kiss and then turn around and tell me I am stupid or blow a raspberry in my face.  Yes Ella has been learning a lot of new words lately and stupid is one of them which drives me crazy.  She also will say "make you dinner mommy" and then tell me it's ready and I find the biggest mess.  Love the girl to pieces, but she is definitely one that keeps me on my toes.

How can you not loves this face.  Not sure if she has mastered putting on make-up like her sister, but she is definitely trying to.
This beautiful mess was Ella making breakfast for me.  I was putting laundry away and normally when she says "make you dinner or breakfast" it's from her play kitchen.  Well today she tried to do it in the real kitchen.  Alivia bless her heart came running in saying "mom Ella is making eggs"  I said she is doing what and came in and saw this.  I could only laugh because she was so proud of herself when I came in.  She stood there with her one arm out like she was presenting me with my eggs and said "mommy for you".  Just another eventful morning at the Varley house...

32 weeks

Yes once again I am almost two weeks behind.  I am almost 34 weeks and am just doing this.  There has been so much going on that I tend not to remember to do this until someone asks to see a picture.  So here is me and our little boy.  We are growing every day and moving around like crazy.  I think his goal is to break my hip bones in the next month.  We are feeling great and enjoying every moment before he arrives.  I am measuring and checking out like I should.  Some people say I look small, but according to the doctor I measure right on the week.  I just have a lot of room in there.  Not to much longer till we can meet him.

Daddy's big day

Yesterday Clint finished his first triathlon.  He did amazing and we could not be more proud of him.  He finished 27 of 60 plus in his age division which was 30-34.  He met his goal of time and is ready for the next one...
Clint's parents came up to help us cheer him on.  Thank goodness they were hear because me trying to push the girls around all morning and see him might have been difficult by myself.  We had a lot of fun being able to be apart of this great event.

That's Clint behind that lady back there.  I tried to get a better picture but they are moving so fast I just snapped what I thought would be good.   Just finished the swim portion and on to the biking...
Go daddy go.... Off to his bike
The girls had a good time and even made posters for Clint to hold
Waiting to see daddy come by on his bike
and there he is.... almost done now off to his final leg the run
First in his division on his transition time from bike to running and eleventh over all...
Here he comes.... He finished in 1 hr and 27 mins.  The clock time is from the actual first gun shot of the morning at 7am.  Clint was a little after 8:22am and finished strong!
So proud!  Ella fell asleep so she didn't see him finish, but was there resting for all of us.  Next event baby Varley to come in only 6-7 short weeks.  Oh wait Clint just informed me that he might try to fit in one more triathlon in August... Go Clint go
So happy for you!!!!

Brothers of the Sun Tour

Clint and I got a night out last night to enjoy the weather and some good music.  We had an awesome afternoon downtown at Target Field where they held their first concert and hopefully many more because it was a perfect venue.

Despite the heat it was so much fun to get out and enjoy such a fun day
Could you get a better view for a concert...
Tim McGraw took the stage first and was awesome
Kenny Chesney came on last and was good, but Tim McGraw was better in my eyes

It was a fun day and night with my husband and we feel so lucky to still be able to get to do these things together even though we have kids.  Pretty soon Alivia will be able to come with us to some of these concerts...

Pool time fun...

Summer has been a blast so far.  We basically spend our days at the pool.  Ella has officially turned into a toe head and Alivia has become my little brownie.. The girls have grown into pretty good swimmers and both can swim by themselves.  Life is good and we can't wait to add a little boy into the mix...

First baseball game in the books

Clint took his ladies to the baseball game on Saturday night.  It was a hot one, but Ella and Alivia did great.  We all had a fun time and the girls loved the fireworks.  Thanks daddy for a fun night out!!!

 Ella and daddy
 Mom and Alivia

Being a little crazy during the game and ready for some cotton candy
Tried to get a good one of the two of them, but that can be pretty difficult...
Even nuk and bear made it to the game and had fun!!!
