Couldn't resist to share with everyone Ella's new accomplishment. She has taken one or two steps here and there, but today she officially took her first of many steps. We are so proud of our little girl or should I say our big girl now....

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with family and friends. On Saturday we spent the afternoon with Grandma and Paul. All the grandkids were there to celebrate the day. The kids had a easter egg hunt and then opened some fun easter buckets. Thanks for a fun day Grandma and Paul.

Easter Sunday we spent with the Gundecha family my mom and Paul. We had a yummy brunch and then some play time outside. Alivia had her own easter egg hunt and then did the little girls egg hunt too. It was a sunny warm day and we were in great company!

Easter Bunny

The Varley girls went to see the Easter bunny and enjoyed it. Before the picture the girls liked waving hi to the bunny and giving him/her high fives. When it came time to take the picture Alivia did not want to at all. Ella had no problem sitting there. After about five minutes of convincing Alivia to stand next to the bunny Ella was done sitting on his/her lap. So we quickly took the picture. So this is what this years picture looks like. These are the memories you look back on and laugh at what times where like back then. As a mom I have learned there is never a perfect moment especially when it comes to taking pictures of your 2 1/2 yr old and a 1 yr old. Happy Easter everyone and have a wonderful weekend!

To all the moms out there. Beware of these ladies in about 14-15 years. You might want to lock your doors if you have boys because we have some heartbreakers on our hands.

Over the weekend we headed off to Iowa in a last minute trip. Clint had Friday off and my b-day plans for Lindsay's 30th got moved back a week so the Varleys packed up and headed to Iowa. We headed to surprise Lindsay and hang out with grandma and grandpa. It was a fun filled weekend like it always is when we visit. The girls played all weekend with all their aunties and uncles. Alivia got to play dress up in auntie Courtney's dance costumes and watch all of Chad's old VHS movies. I even got to get out and go up to Ankeny. I surprised Lindsay on her 30th birthday and took her out for a few hours to get a much needed pedicure. It was a very fun weekend!

We also got to be a ballerina and show off our moves we have learned over the year.

Oh can't forget the one with the cool hat. Alivia just had a ball putting on all of these costumes. Thanks Courtney for sharing your costumes with a little girl who loved every minute of it.

Can't forget little Ella. She even got into the mix, but wasn't as excited about all of it.

We would rather put on all of grandma's beaded necklaces.

The girls got in their Chad time. Alivia and Ella are very lucky to have a uncle like Chad. He plays, reads and watches anything with the girls.

Since we were all visiting the Easter bunny decided to visit early too. Our new dancing bunny was a big hit with the girls.

Early Sunday morning the Easter bunny came and Alivia got to go around and find them all.

We had a great birthday for our little Ella. All our family and friends helped us ring in the big "one" in style. Ella had a blast from the time it started till it ended. She was happy and laughing the entire day.

Sorry for the delay in updating the blog. I am waiting on pictures from Ella's birthday and as soon as I get them I will have plenty to share with you.
