3. When I am having a bad day and a hug from Alivia can make it all better

I finally got a picture of Ella's teeth that came in about a week ago. It's been hard to catch her with her mouth open without her tongue or fingers in it too. So here the big toofers are. My little 3 1/2 year old and her teeth. Cross your fingers she doesn't bit!

We had a great time spending the weekend in Iowa for Mark and Courtney's wedding. Alivia was in her glory spending all this time with the big girls. The weekend started with a wonderful lunch and then off to get our nails and toes done.



Alivia spending a lot of time picking out a color for her toes. I think it change a few times from blue to orange. Then ending up with a pink which was perfect! Thanks Rachel for all your help...

Now it was Alivia's turn to get pampered...

The big day is finally here. Alivia got to get all pretty like the big girls.

I think we checked ourself out a million times. She was so proud of how pretty she looked. What a big girl.

We started dancing at 7pm and didn't stop till 10pm. Alivia was a dancing fool all night.

We had a great time throughout the whole weekend. Both my girls had so much fun and to us that is all that matters. When they are having fun mom and dad are having fun. Thanks to the Varleys and Stringham's for a wonderful weekend.

Happy Friday

Sampson and Ella wish everyone a happy Friday! We are off to their aunties wedding this weekend in Iowa. Many pictures to come!!!!

So lucky

Some days I wonder how I got so lucky with two beautiful and well behaved kids. I usually can still get my daily activities in such as working out, cleaning and laundry. Alivia has really taken to being the big sister really well. Sometimes I wonder if she thinks she is the mom around here.
The other day while I was running I glanced over and noticed Alivia playing, rocking or singing to Ella. I kind of just smiled and continued. A minute later I looked again and noticed Alivia had gotten all of the baby toys I had taken out and put them all around Ella. I had to stop and take a closer look. Alivia told me "Ella toys" with a huge smile like she had done the best thing for her. I just kissed her and said "your the best big sister Ella could ever have". She quickly pulled away and gave me a gross look while saying "mommy wet". Yes us Varleys sweat!

Then it was time for Alivia to play with them since Ella wasn't doing her job at playing with them. Oh they make it to easy some times.

These days in our house when Ella is doing something new Alivia will have to show her how to first. Well over the weekend we decided to put together Ella's new chair and before Ella could break it in herself big sister had to try it out. Thank goodness we Alivia otherwise I don't know if Ella would have figured it out!

Now Ella's turn... Alivia also should her how each toy works too. I think it might be awhile till she figures those out. We are pretty much using our hands these days to make our teeth feel better. Two bottom ones are in. They came through over the weekend!!!

I hope they play this nice together for the next few years. Oh and don't mind Alivia being half naked. She at least has shorts on. Usually she is completely naked!!

Can't get enough Ella

These days Alivia and I can't get enough of our little Ella. She is starting to be funny well as funny as a baby can be. She makes funny faces, laughs when you laugh and even sympathy cries if you are crying. Alivia even gets her to talk which Alivia thinks is the funniest thing ever.

My little girl is growing up way to fast. She is starting to do things which means she is getting older. She is now sitting with us at the table in her own high chair, she is teething and starting to grab onto her toys. Where does the time go.

Life as a 2 yrear old

These days you never know what is going to go on in the Varley household. One minute Alivia is happy and the next we are falling to the floor upset about who knows what. We also enjoy dressing our self and changing our clothes throughout the day. Alivia usually doesn't like what I pick out and will go in and change herself into another outfit. I understand the being independent thing so I let her usually. We also can have split personalities to which is fun some days.

The camera is another new fun thing to play with. Alivia loves to take a picture and then look at it. She also figured out how to take a picture and let me tell you what comes out it pretty interesting.
On this lovely day Alivia got into my closet and found this shirt which looks like a dress on her. I actually think it's her aunt Steph's shirt. I hate to say this, but she looked like a stripper with her chest hanging out. I wish I could have caught what she was doing before this picture. She had her purse and necklaces on and talking on her Elmo phone. We are classy at our house for sure.

This was awesome. We were making cookies and Alivia told me she will be right back and came back into the kitchen with the bottoms to one swimsuit and her Dora suit on over it. We ended up wearing this all day. Daddy came home and asked why she is wearing her swimsuit and I said this is what we picked out to put on.

Here is one of our personalities I don't even know who to describe. It's the I slept really hard and long, not sure if I am all here right now so leave me alone look.

We love our Alivia and she keeps us laughing everyday. Some days I want to put her in a closet and the next I want to eat her up because she is so cute. Our girls keep a smile on our face and we love them for that.

I'm 3 months old!

My little Ella Bella is 3 months old already. We love her more and more everyday. It has been so fun to watch the girls interact more together and Alivia has been the best big sister to her as well. We love our little girl!

I am getting bigger and bigger everyday and am enjoying life every moment I can. Some new things about me are:

-I smile at anyone that will look at me

-I now laugh out loud which my mom makes me do a lot

-I suck my thumb and take a nuk

-I am getting so close to sitting up with help from the boppy (maybe in a few weeks)

-My two bottom teeth are starting to come through

-I now take my naps in my crib like a big girl (my mom thinks I am a great sleeper)

-I am starting to loose my hair in the back so I look like an old man

-My eye's are still blue

-I sleep from 8pm to 8am

-I love playing with my friends Claire and Lilly

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Saturday grandma Joyce and Paul came over to play and bbq and on Sunday we headed to Papa and Nana's house for some fun. Alivia had a blast all weekend from swimming to running around in the backyard.

Trouble.....

Playing with friends is fun these days

Lot's of fun play dates these days. One was extra special since we got to meet little Harper and Julie was able to meet our little ones. All the girls had so much fun playing together and same just stuck with the guys watching sports.
