Weekend in Iowa

We had a another great weekend in Iowa.  The girls were busy decorating pumpkins, shopping and playing dress up.  Our weekends are always full of fun times and crazy memories.  We also were able to go to a Halloween party for the kids on Saturday night.  While Clint headed to Ames for the game us ladies and Colin did some shopping and headed to the 5x80 for a costume party...

Sibling fun

This month has been full of fun activities for Halloween.  We have made many crafts, snacks, visited the pumpkin patch and played in the leaves.  As a mom I love watching my kids be so excited for the Holidays.  I am a kid at heart when it comes to the months of October thru February.  So let the fun begin!

Decorating our pumpkins with our apples we picked from papa and nana's trees with peanut butter.  Alivia couldn't stop eating her snack for a picture as  you can see.

Pumpkin Patch

What a beautiful day to visit the pumpkin patch.  The kids jumped in the pumpkin jumper and had a great time picking out their pumpkins. We went there to get three (one for each kid) and ended up with five pumpkins.  Colin was even able to get in on some of the fun this year...

Poor Colin

Life with two older sisters can be fun, but when they start dressing him like a little girl it might be a problem.  The girls the other day were laughing in the other room.  I came in and saw that they were putting their headbands and jewelry on him.  He loved it and smiled through it all.  I think in a few years this won't be as fun to Colin as it is now.

Fresh Beat Band

Today was a great day!  We headed out to the Mall of America to Toddler Tuesday and today was the Fresh Beat Band.  They played shows, colored, made a craft, danced and had so much fun.  After all the fun it was time for the dance party and that is when the actual Fresh Beat Band came and danced with the kids.  The girls were also lucky to go and meet the Band and let me tell you waiting in a line for almost an hour with three kids at noon was not the best part of my day.  I only had so many snacks and juice to last for awhile.  Once we finally got up to meet them they were in their glory.  It was priceless to see the girls get so excited to give them high fives and talk to them.  Oh the things we do for our kids!!!

Daddy's little boy

Colin has really grown in the past few weeks.  He keeps his head up really well for a few seconds at a time.  He smiles and talks to us now and follows you with his eyes.  Colin is a pretty easy going kid, but he doesn't have much of a choice being the third.  He just has to go with the flow of our weekly schedule..

Not sure yet, but I think he might be a blue eyed boy.  As of right now they are staying pretty blue.  His hair has started to fall out.  Colin is loosing his hair in the front so far and not in the back, but he still is pretty cute.

Fun weekend

We had a great weekend in Iowa.  Spent time with all our uncles, aunties, grandma and grandpa.  We headed up to Ames for for the football game and enjoy the beautiful weather and just being around family and friends.  The kids also got to spend some time with Carter Bentley which was so much fun!

Seven Year

Today I would like to thank my husband for 7 wonderful years of marriage.  I can honestly say life is perfect right now.  We have 3 beautiful kids, a roof over our heads and lots of fun everyday who could ask for more.  I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been there with us that has help shape us to who we have become today.  Our parents have been the best supporters for us and also great babysitters I might add.  Thank you Clint for 7 years!  I only can dream of what fun and exciting things await our future...
