While we were in Iowa Ella got a new hairstyle.  Ella borrowed grandma's hair which clips right in and let me tell you she thought she was something special.  She would swing her head around so she could feel it on her ears and neck.  Watch out Toddler and Tiara's you got a new girl in town!

and then there were three

We are so excited to share that the our family will be growing this summer.  Alivia and Ella will be big sisters to either a little brother or sister.  Clint and I could not be more happy to add to our family.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful girls that adding to our family only seems right.  Look forward to sharing  this journey with you...

Lot's of love

Thanks to Paul the girls and I got to have a fun morning of pictures. The girls had fun playing around with all the fun Valentines decorations while mom sat back and watch her girls personalities come through. It's so funny to see how different these two are. Alivia plays the sweet, loving and gentle lady while Ella is crazy, silly and in her own world. Thanks Paul for these fun memories!

My sweet little girl

I hope she still likes taking pictures with mom down the road

Yep she thinks she is hilarious

Love it!

Can they stay like this forever. I hope they still love each other as much as they do now down the road.

As Alivia is getting older she is interested in about everything I do these days. She wants to be a part of everything I am doing from cooking, cleaning, taking pictures and emailing (only to name a few). She has just grown up so much this past year that she is not a little girl anymore. She asked big kid questions and is curious about the whole world not just her little world. I love my afternoons with her since Ella naps the day away. Alivia and I get to spend a good part of the day just the two of us. Sometimes we play, clean or just dance around being silly. She loves to look back at old pictures of herself when she was little and tells me how much she has grown. I just can't believe how time has flown by. I remember way back to her being 6 weeks old and I was home alone with her. She was up all night screaming and I couldn't get her to calm down. I remember thinking I wished this stage would go by fast. If I could go back and tell myself how fast it really does go by and those days seems like years ago I would. I love my girls and thank god everyday that I have two healthy, happy and crazy ladies. Poor Clint has his hands full in about 10-12 years....

Sisters

These days Clint and I don't see a lot of the girls. They are usually playing in the basement with their babies or dolls. You can also find them in Alivia's room doing hair and make-up. This corner of the house tends to be the new hangout for the girls though. It's been so fun watching them play together and keep each other company. It's been great I get a lot done around the house and Clint and I are getting some time just the two of us which normally in the past doesn't happen. As they get older it's fun watching them interact so well together. Playing house and babies are a top priority in our daily schedule. Love my girls!!!

Growing up so fast...

The other night after dinner we usual let the girls play for awhile till it's jammy time. Normally that time of day is Alivia's time to go #2. She is so predictable is funny. Well on this night Alivia went in took off all her clothes (which is what she does for #2) and started working on the 10 minute process. Clint and I were in sitting on the couch and realized Ella wasn't around so I decided to go in and check to see if she was in with Alivia. When I opened the door this is what I found. Two naked little girls going #2. Well Ella thought she was, but really she was just sitting there. Ella has showed no interest in potty training so maybe this will be the beginning of something good.

WTR...

We took Alivia out on Saturday night to the Worlds Toughest Rodeo. She was so excited all she kept asking all day is "when are we going". Alivia had so much fun and even got to enjoy her first taste at mini doughnuts in a bag. Basically crack in a bag, but she loved them and enjoyed every bite. When the Rodeo was over Alivia also got to experience her first concert. It took awhile for her to figure out what was going on and tried to be like all the older girls around us aka teenagers. Overall is was a fun night out with our little I mean big girl!

A little family picture before we headed out and Ella went with grandma and Paul

Fun days...

Fun dress up day with the girls. We danced and were crazy all morning. So fun to watch Ella be able to join in on all the fun these days. Girls are so fun!!!
