Alivia's school celebrated Mother's Day on Friday. It was a morning full of singing, tea, cookies and pictures. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my morning. Since it was so nice I took the girlsout for lunch and we made a day of just us ladies...
This was the last song and was tough on this prego mom. The chorus goes:
Well I know it's hard to believe that you were a kid like me
One day I am going to grow up
So remember me when I am small
Are you kidding... Not only are my hormones on super load, but to hear my little girl sing about growing up and having to remember her now makes me a little teary eyed...
Pretty sure this is head, shoulder, knees and toe
Alivia and Tessa doing their prayer so well
Group shot
Ally, Alivia and Tessa
Ally and Alivia
Tessa and her giant friend Alivia
Alivia was asked some questions about me and one is just hilarious. Not only do I weigh 30lbs, but I love to eat everything in the world... What a great day to spend with my girls. I even got a beautiful butterfly necklace the kids made for their moms. I am going to leave you all with this poem/song that they sang to us. I mean give this poor pregnant mom a chance here. I was that mom crying her eye's out. Not sure if it was the hormones or the thought of my kids growing up some day....
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls
But every day I'm growing --
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away
So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small
