Poor little girl

We had our first encounter with choking yesterday. Alivia and I had a wonderful time at the grocery store and towards the end of our wonderful journey I let her play with her new thing of puffs. Puffs are like cereal, but made by gerber with different flavors. So I finished paying and went to push the cart around to leave and noticed Alivia's face red and white. She seemed to breathing, but just had something stuck in her throat. I took her out and checked her out and she started looking at me like "what are you doing". We headed off to the car and I put her in her car seat and then started putting the groceries in the trunk. I kept looking at her and she was doing this weird gagging thing so I quickly got her out and calmed her down again. I put her back into the car and she started up again and then unloaded on herself and the car seat. I quickly took her out and thought there is no way I can drive home with her like this. I almost pulled a Britney and drove with her on my lap, but didn't. I called Clint and said I don't know what to do. Since we were not to far from home I put her in the car seat and talked to her all the way home. Once we were home I brought her in to change her clothes and once I sat her on the changing table she started gagging again. I yelled for Clint and when he came in she puked up more on herself. I cleaned her up and she seemed to be fine and that it had finally came out, but 10 minutes later Clint was with her and he yelled for me and did it again. I finally called the first nurse to see what we should do and they were no help at all. She gave me no help and said she would call back. Oh she did say don't feed her till I call you back. Well I still have not heard back from the nurse and yes we decided to feed her after waiting for 30 minutes. Alivia is doing just fine and after the last puking event she was her giggling self and happy as can be. So that was just another fun adventure with having kids.
Oh and not to drag this on even more, but earlier that day my mom had to watch Alivia. Clint and I went to do our taxes (fun fun). My mom had both Presley and Alivia. I guess she was cleaning out her breakfast at the sink and within a short period of time Presley had pulled a chair up to Alivia in her highchair and colored marker on her face. For a 18 month old to think to use red and only color on Alivia's mouth so it looked like lip stick, I thought that was pretty clever. I wish I had a picture to show, but it was cleaned off before I could see it myself.
So what a day for my little baby.....
