Weekend in Iowa

We had a wonderful time in Iowa visiting grandma and grandpa. We managed to pack in a lot even though we were only there Saturday till Sunday afternoon. We played with grandma, Chad (our crush), grandpa and Alivia's 2nd cousins. Alivia just loves visiting and it's always hard to say bye when we leave. I can only imagine what it will be like when Ella is older and how much fun they will have at grandma and grandpa's house.
Chad, grandma and Alivia having a tea party. Alivia does a great job at assigning everybody's seats and telling you where to sit. Thanks Chad for being such a good sport. She just loves you!
My half naked girl trying on her new cowboy boots and hat for her big night. The boots had a little heal on them so it was hilarious watching her walk in them for the first time. We might need some more practice.

Daddy, grandpa and Alivia (great grandpa was there too) at the rodeo, yes I said rodeo. The took my little princess to the rodeo that Alivia has grown to love. Clint and Alivia have been watching it on TV at home and when Clint saw they were heading to Des Moines he jumped on the chance to take Alivia. They had a great time and Alivia just loved it.

Grandpa and Alivia getting ready to check out the new baby cows. If you look close Alivia is wearing half her pj's and her big sister shirt and a beautiful dress coat her daddy used to wear when he was little.

Grandpa and Alivia getting ready to head out. Grandpa giving Alivia a quick lesson on how to drive while they wait for grandma.

My hobo child is off to a day of fun on the farm...

We couldn't leave without jumping on the tramp. Last summer it was kind of scary, but we had no problems this time around.

Crazy lady

Jump...jump...jump

Yes Ella did join us on this trip. She just spends most her time eating and sleeping so getting a picture is not as easy. Here is grandma getting her much needed Ella time in while she can.

Grandma and her two girls. Hard to believe Alivia was this small and that Ella is going to grow up to be that big.

Great aunt Sue Sue was even able to get some Ella time in.
